XPERIA Z3 (D6603): Removing brand logo, stock rom [Need help, explanation]

Hey!
First of all I hope this is the correct section for this problem.

I looked everywhere, on xda, on other forums, and no luck, so I decided to ask my questions directly.

Well, it's like this. I have a XPERIA Z3 which is branded with T-Mobile. It has T-Mobile applications/bloatware, and T-Mobile logo on boot. My question is, can I remove the applications, and the boot logo without rooting?
Or can I download an unbranded stock ROM (or firmware, not sure if it's the same thing) for Z3, and that way remove the T-Mobile logo and applcations? Will that work?
If someone knows, please tell me where to download the stock ROM/firmware.

Battery drain while idle

Is anyone having issues with battery drain while not using their phone? My wife and I both have noticed pretty good battery drain while we're not using our phones. Going into settings and checking under the battery menu, all we show is phone idle. I've adjusted all my settings to be as battery friendly as possible including turning of wifi and mobile data, minimum brightness, 30 second screen time out, constantly clearing my recents, black wallpapers, daydream off. We're still losing battery life pretty quickly and for the life of me I can't figure it out.

Samsung galaxy tab s2-T815 HELP!!!

Okay, so I recently brought this tablet only last week and up until a week it randomly started freezing on different apps and force closing them! So I ended up checking to see if it was a software bug and checked if the tablet needed an update but no luck there as the tablet kept giving me an error unable to download latest update for no reason at all! So I decided to use sammobile which I have used before in the past for my Samsung s6 so I know how it works and I found the latest update for my tablet on o2 as it's locked to o2 and I realised my tablet was on an older firmware so I downloaded and flashed the new firmware. Once it was done it loaded up as normal I signed in to all my apps and for a couple of hours it was fine until I suddenly placed it down to charge and it randomly rebooted for no reason so I picked it up to check it and now sometimes when I open up Facebook or app store or anything really sometimes they work and sometimes they say they have stopped! For example "unfortunately Google play store has stopped" and once one of them says it's stopped the rest stasrt randomly popping up saying they have stopped and I can't literally touch the tablet because it keeps popping up so I have to reboot the tablet! I have tried factory resetting with no luck it works for a while after resetting but starts again! PLEASE HELP! I ONLY RECNTLY BROUGHT THIS NEW!!! SO SHOULDNT HAVE ISSUES!

Change bootanimation no root?

I'm curious if anyone knows if it's possible to change the boot animation away from the T-Mobile one without root. I've read it's possible with adb but I've had no luck. I've changed the DPI to 540 with adb. I'm trying to make the most out of my v10 until root is hopefully achieved on MM.

How to have separate Dual SIM sim signal bars in status bar instead of merged one ?

I'm using AOSP v4 ROM in my Redmi Note 3 Pro(snapdragon) , it has merged signal bar for both SIM which means instead of showing 2 separate signal for dual SIM , it shows only 1 signal bar which makes it difficult to know which SIM has high/low signal and makes it difficult to troubleshoot in case of any problem.
Asked in AOSP thread but no help.

Tried different xposed modules , still no help.
I'm not good with modding and stuff.
If anybody have any idea how to split signal bar into 2 , please let me know.

Quick toggles disappeared after Marshmallow update.

I have the Sm-915G model of Note Edge..... 3 days ago i received an OTA that upgraded the system to Marshmallow. Everything is working perfect however the quick toggles in the notifications drawer have dissappeared(all of them including wifi,bluetooth ,gps ,etc ). I tried using the reset option in the settings but even that didnt help..... I dont know what to do plz help..

No firmware on htc one s

Hey, my friend gave me a Htc One S to fix. When I try to power it the phone just blinks for a sec, when i charge it after couple minutes the charging batery appears and then i can get into a bootloader ( and only bootloader). Going into recovery boots into bootloader again, reboot results bootloop. I tried to fix it by RUU but an error appears (i dont remember what error). Any ideas ? :p

LG G2 (Secure booting error) can boot into TWRP. How do i fix this?

T-Mobile D801 (This was my previous phone that i had rooted before) My dads LG G2 was having issues with the touchscreen on CM so i decided to flash the stock ROM but i guess i might have skipped a few steps and after flashing i got :boot certification verify, secure booting error! and cause: boot certification verify. after that i tried flashing a backup but i got the same thing. My friend told me to wipe all the files so i did and that's what point i am on now. I can still boot into recovery but have no idea what to do further, i tried to following one of the guides on here (forgot link sorryz) but once i got to one of the steps where i plug my phone in my PC would recognize it as a bunch of drives (tried this on a different PC as well) WILL REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP GUYS!

Phone stuck at boot logo (SM-G935F)

Hello,

After rooting my phone through CF-Auto Root from Chainfire and installing the TEKXnesis HYBRID Rom, I got the Xposed Installer message that the module was missing and I needed to install it...

So I downloaded this file: xposed-v83-sdk23-arm64.zip and installed it through TWRP... After that I cleared cache and rebooted and then... I got stuck at the Samsung Logo...

I tried to restart the phone through Volume Down and Power Button, which worked but got me into the stuck logo again...
All other options aren't working...

What can I do? I definitely need some help over here... :(

GT-N8010 soft/hardish bricked, played too much with it, can't have it back

Galaxy Tab 10.1 (wireless only) was infected badly and I decided I should play with Odin.
I downloaded the correct .tar and did everything that was said here very carefully:

Then, I got frustrated, pissed and pressed nearly every button on Odin and turned the target off while it looked like it was working for about an hour, even took the cable in and out deliriously.

After trials with 2 different computers, 7 USB ports and several hours, all I get is the "Downloading, Do not turn off target!" screen if not a a white blinking screen that loops every 3 secs or so.

Well, now I really want it to work.
I have:
-correct .tar m5d file (1.84 GB)
Odin3 v1.7
P1_add_hidden.pit (2 KB)
gt-p1000_mr.pit (2KB)
recovery.tar.md5 (5 MB)
Samsung-Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root zip file (603 KB)
N8013RootInjectedSystem.tar (1.25 GB) -I think this must have caused all the brickyness

and some other files that seem irrelevant in my "tab root" folder on my desktop.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN! I'VE SPENT MORE THAN 3 DAYS ON THIS NOW AND AM ABOUT TO DECIDE TO CHUCK IT IN THE BIN.

TWRP with Marshmellow on SM_G290T. Cant access or run TWRP.

HI.

I recently bought a S6 SM-g290T to replace the edge that just broke. I got it form Ebay, and it already had the marshmallow update on it.

Ive tried three ways to Sunday, but i cant get TWRP to stick and work on the phone.

I can root the phone with CF auto root, which is better then nothing, but I would like to get a less bloated ROM running on the phone.

Heres 2hat I tried (TWRP 2.8 - 3.0 ive tried)
[1] Fresh install of latest firmware [EPD1]. Install CF auto root, try to flash TWRP though ODIN. Any attempt into recovery shows recovery not seandroid enforced and just sits there at boot /logo screen.
[2] TWRP install, cf auto root, then same thing - stuck
[3] Firmware flash, twrp , then cf-auto root. 0- stuck

**I've also tried booting right into TWRP after the flash as some posts have suggested, saying it gets wiped out and you have to go right in after the odin flash.

Good news is i can get into my stock rom which is rooted.

Any help is much appreciated. My s6 Edge was on 5.11 and i had no problems getting TWRP and cf auto root to play nice and work. Then I'd flash Sick as hell and was a happy user!

Can I down grade my firmware from 6 to 5..11? Would this make it easier.

I don't care if i lose marshmallow over the deal. I just need TWRP and root for my phone.

Galaxy Note 5 4G data heating issue

Hi XDA team,

I have this phone for about 3 months now and it's been great for me overall. However starting last week, I started to experience a heating problem. Whenever I'm on data and on 4G connection, my phone heats up crazy, about 43° Celsius and I did not wait to find out how high it can get. This is without doing anything!

So I can say I'm not that really new when it comes to troubleshooting Android phones, I had my fair share of bricking my older phones due to tweaking, rooting, etc. :D However my Note5 is not rooted, dual sim version but I only use 1 sim.

I already suspected an app that might be causing it, but gsam can't really see what the suspect was (Now I realized, troubleshooting a non rooted phone is harder) so I want to safe mode. Now all my 3rd party eliminated, after turning my 4G on and locked the phone, it still heated. :crying:

So, I tried putting it on 2G or 3G and my phone does not heat up the way it does when it's on 4G, it only comes close to around 36° and this is normal while browsing.

It never did this until just last week, what are your thoughts?

I'm in the Philippines and I'm a Globe user, anyone experiencing the same? Does it have to do with the signal? Screenshot attached about my firmware.

Root/Unroot - is this possible?

Hi,
I have a note 4 SM-N910F (UK). I'm getting annoying skipping via bluetooth headphones whilst playing music. I've read that this can be remedied by editing build.prop.

I understand build.prop can't be edited and saved without rooting the phone and that rooting will trip knox, voiding the remainder of my warranty. I'd like to keep my warranty but won't lose much sleep if knox is tripped.

The reason I want to unroot the phone after rooting and editing build.prop is that Sky Go/Virgin TV Anywhere doesn't work with rooted phones. Problem is that flashing stock firmware, i think, will overwrite build.prop losing the changes i've made.

Any workaround for this anyone knows of?

Cricket 510, unlocked, cant get signal

Hello everyone. I have a Cricket (GSM) Desire. I am trying to use it on the Straight Talk network (AT&T). I have already unlocked the bootloader, and sim unlocked the device. I have the correct ST apn set up. The issue is that it always shows an X in the signal bar, as in no service. Occasionally I will get the LTE symbol with 1 bar, and during that time my data is working. I can download from the play store, and send text messages. I cannot, however make calls. I will dial a number and hit send, and won't get a dial tone, and it will not connect. After 20 seconds or so I get a beep and it disconnects, and I lose service for some time. Under the *#*#4636 menu, network is set to GSM auto (PRL). I can change this setting, but it doesn't persist after a reboot. I have called customer service and they insist the device is CDMA only. I know this is the case for the Boost/Sprint Desire, but I was under the impression that the Cricket version was GSM. That's the whole reason I bothered unlocking it. Phonescoop is showing that the Cricket 510 uses these bands:
LTE 2 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 17
WCDMA 2 / 4 / 5
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
In my area, the AT&T side of straight talk uses the 850/1900mhz bands.

I can't figure out why this isn't working. The phone never attempts to connect to anything other than LTE. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have zenfone2 with LRX21V.WW-ASUS_Z00A-2.20.40.178_20160330_890_user
I rooted the device following these instructions:
Download the 1 Click Root Tool for Zenfone 2 from
Unzip and connect your phone to PC
Run CheckBeforeAction.bat .... You will get confirmation to proceed to next step
Now run Root_zenfone.bat
Your Device will be rooted automatically

Than tried to install Xposed Framework following the instructions here:

Connect your zenfone 2 with USB (USB debugging enabled)
Extract the downloaded folder and launch InstallXposedFramework.bat (phone will reboot)

My device rebooted and stayed in the ASUS screen

I tried to sideload stock rom (UL-Z00A-WW-2.20.40.174-user) in recovary but it fails saying:

[query] Smartwatch with always on Heart rate monitor? Like F68 watch

Hi i found F68 and F69 smartwatches which can 24x7 monitor the sleep, walking and heart rate.

However when i look at no 1 g3 or g4 or D5 or K9 they all have the sensors but they need manual input to scan.

Please direct me to a smart watch which can do the automatic tracking when i walk or sleep. Also 24x7 heart rate monitoring.

Sd card problema with Huawei Y635

Hello everyone. Briefly, here is my problem: after I reboot my phone, my sdcard works perfectly for about 5 minutes. After that, the phone still recognizes the card, but there's no way to put anything on it whatsoever. More, the apps or files I moved onto the card in the brief 5 minutes it worked are gone.
I have a Huawei Y635, rooted, stock rom (KitKat 4.4.4), Nova launcher. I already run the KitKat sdfix, including the xposed module. I have an 8 gigs no-name sd card. Please, PLEASE, help me. Many thanx to all.

Bootloop problem

So I recently flashed a boot loader and modem for the XtreStoLite mod for Android 6. I was however unaware that before flashing you should have unchecked the "Auto Reboot" option. Now my phone is at the screen with "Samsung Galaxy S6" and it doesn't do anything. It won't go into Download mode, it won't go into Recovery mode. Is my phone bricked? Can I wait until the battery runs out or something? If I can do something to get into recovery mode, please can anyone tell me how to get there? :(:(:(

Issues with battery life

So I've had this phone now for probably 3 months or so, but ever since I got it I've had some issues with the battery life in general, but it has only gotten worse by time and it's driving me crazy. Right now I'm barely even able to go through a day of using the phone without having to bring a charger with me and re-fill the battery, even with only 2-3 hours of on-screen time at most (no games either, just social media like facebook and snapchat etc.).

I've tried many steps to try to fix the issues, at first I tried to restore my phone using Samsung Smart Switch and that did not help resolving the issue. I've also tried to disable apps using Package Disabler Pro and I've also disabled GPS and NFC, but that didn't help at all.

Is there anything more I can do, or shall I just get it sent back for repairs?

T Mobile LG V10 Battery Life is Miserable

I have this phone since last year when it comes originally with Lollipop. Now that it's been updated to Marshmallow couple days ago, the battery life hasn't been improved one bit. In fact, it can barely reach 2 hours SOT.

Anyone have the same problems that can offer a solution to my poor V10?

I honestly love thie phone but can't get along with the battery life.

Stuck on "waiting for device" when trying to unlock bootloader

I've been trying to unlock the bootloader on my HTC rezound and when I go to command prompt and type in "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" it just says "waiting for device" and stays there without doing anything else.

I have the latest androidsdk. I created a folder named Android in the c drive and put the files from an Android sdk folder in the new Android folder which includes the platform-tools files and has the fastboot file.

I also had tried an older androidsdk that I had and put a fastboot file from htcdev.com into one of the folders in androidsdk or the androidsdk folder itself (forgot which one), but I had the same result.

One thing I notice is in device manager it shows "Android USB" and under that it says "HTC usb" or something, but there's an exclamation mark inside a triangle or something like that. When I click the properties for it, it says something similar to if not exactly "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".

I am using an old laptop with Windows Vista Premium 32-bit. I tried some different usb ports, but I still have had the same issue. The phone charges through the laptop so it at least gets recognized in some way.

Any ideas on what to do?

I had the rom Android Revolution installed on my HTC M8.
Today I installed the new ROM Revolution, Android 6.0, but when I could not turn on wifi.

After searching in google found that I had to update my firmware, which I have subsequently done via the PC with mini-sdk. That did not work, and now I'm stuck in fastboot.

Moto g xt1039 doesn't writes anything,

Recientemente compré un MOTO G XT1039 que al principio no entraba al recovery, baje una infinidad de recoverys, ninguno conseguia flashearlo, logré hacerlo con la herramienta Mototools AIOV3, pero no puedo instalar roms, ni recovery, nada, el bootloader esta desbloqueado.
logre bootear el TWRP con el comando

pero cuando reinicio solo se queda en la pantalla del bootloader desbloqueado, si pruebo instalando desde el recovery me pone que no hubo fallos pero cuando reinicio no pasa nada.

Stuck in a boot looping after root/recovery/ROM. Not sure where I went wrong. Help!?

Looking for some help if available. Rooted and flashed customer recovery per the instructions, but I'm stuck in a boot loop. It goes from the note 4 screen to the tmobile screen, then loops over and over again. I then flashed the TEKXodus ROM and kernel from my SD card. Still boot looping, but now has the dolby screen instead of the tmobile screen. Anybody know where I went wrong? I could use some help. Thanks!

Samsung Go Prime, Unauthorized Software Notification Locked My Phone

Ok so I'm not sure where to put this thread and please forgive my bad grammar and punctuation if I have any. I already read some threads on this forum about a problem like mine and tried to follow the instructions to get back into my phone, but none of it worked so....

I have a Samsung Go Prime that I bought from Wal-Mart for around $100. I rooted it, and got the message "unauthorized software has been found on your phone, please take it to nearest AT&T etc etc". So I did just that, took it to AT&T, called up Samsung customer care on the phone, and took the phone to some sort of Samsung representative or worker person in Best Buy and nobody seems to be able to help me. I downloaded Odin and Philz Touch and tried to flash that and I kept getting Nand fail. I tried Kies and evidently Sammobile website doesn't seem to have the firmware I need either.

Somebody plleeeaassee help me. I had to pay another $100 just to get another phone so now I feel like I wasted $100 for a phone that wont work now. Maybe I didn't use Odin or Philz Touch firmware properly or didn't follow a certain instruction correctly at some point?

Any help would be massively appreciated.

How to modify Android system as that.

I need to turn off automatic shutdown Snapchat as background application.
It's probably Android that saves battery, improves performance. I want to make only Snapchat application that can run in background. I checked process task manager and It shows that Snapchat is wokring. But when I run this application it always restarts. I'm also very angry when I turn off backlight and unsaved snap disappears.
I have custom android based on kit kat 4.4.2 on lg p710 (optimus l7 ii) device. I believe that there is option to modify engine.

I just istalled the newest version of CM13 on my G900F and it works flawlessly.
I was too lazy to create a propper backup with titanium etc. however, and just copied the WhatsApp/Camera folders etc.

I wanted to paste these folders on the new phone, but it doesn't allow me to do that.
I cant even see these folders on my SD card (on PC).

Hope you can help me out.

Big problem with 2G

Hi everyone !

Lately I went to a place were 3G/4G was not reachable and it is there that i noticed that my brand new Moto X play couldn't get any connection in 2G mode even if the place was fully covered with 2G/EDGE...
In 3G/4G there is no problem only on 2G.
I tried in the settings to put 2G only and I can not get any signal even now that i'm back home ....
I tried a factory reset from the recovery it did not work :crying: Do you have an idea on how to solve that problem ?
I also tried to use the sim card with another phone in 2G and there it works fine with maximal signal ....

Help for creating a costum ROM (Newbie here)

Hi guys! GRIFDdroid here!

So, well, I need help for creating a costum ROM, quite a newbie here, I actually need a full guide for it... What I want to do is to make a ROM based on SHV-E160L the Korean Galaxy note 1 with Popup head notification and and s6 status bar with a few more modifications... Anyone can help me? Phone not detecting pictures moved to SD card (Android 6.0.1)

I have a weird issue. After updating my phone to Sony's official 6.0.1, I noticed that my phone isn't detecting pictures that I moved to the SD card.
Pictures that are created on the SD card by the camera app gets detected.
If I move a picture from internal storage to the DCIM folder on the SD card, it disappears from Album. The file is still there, but the phone just isn't detecting it.
It detects pictures on the internal storage perfectly fine. Using the 'Find and fix problems' option in the Album app will let the phone detect the pictures.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

I also already tried clearing the cache and data of the Media Storage. It would detect the pictures that are already on the SD card, but wouldn't detect any new pictures that I move to the SD card.

I cannot get past the "Android is updating..." Screen on any ROM

I've tried just about every rom on the internet with my S5, and not a single one will get past the "Android is booting, starting apps" screen.

I have:

- Factory reset in TWRP (with system checked)

- Fixed permissions

- tried with/without gapps

- just about everything else

Any hope for my S5? I have had CM 13 running on it before, but recently went back to stock ROM because of some issues.

Installed CM13 himaul to Asian One M9W (HTCCN_701), couldn't find suitable RUU

Hello guys, I flashed CM13 (himaul GSM) to Chinese M9W (this is my first htc phone), and i thought it will work welll, but it didn't go well than i except. Now It doesn't recognize SIM card, IMEI number anymore. After that I realized I deleted 2 days ago TWRP backups of my M9W.

It's board number is himauhl. Same version as European M9. But with different CID, HTCCN_701.

I can't found suitable RUU to my HTC M9W with HTCCN_701 CID. I found but it was in Chinese, I couldn't understand anything so I am not sure it's cid suitable to mine. Link: http://ift.tt/1SDHoE5

I Have 2 Exact Phones! App In Store One Lets Me Turn Off Auto Update?

I have two exact phones with same exact app.

One phone lets me turn auto update off in the top right corner of google play when I select on the app but the other one the three little dots on the top right are missing. The exact same version of google play is installed and I have wiped the google play cache.

Any ideas?

I want to not update this app automatically on both phones. And yes all settings are the same in google play.

Please help.

For the final version of Fire OS 5, the button combination to bring up resolution cycling has been changed to holding REVERSE and UP

But doing so, will take 10sec for each framerate/resolution until you can set it (60p, 50p, 30p, 25p, 24p + 1080p-480p).

i have a TF103C model K010. After 2 return to manufacturer for changing screen due to not reacting screen. I'm wondering if there is not:
- a tool to flash rom as standard fast boot does not allow to flash
- a ROM that allows me to avoid this issue with screen that does not react to any movement.

[Gear S] pairing with your phone

Just I bought Samsung Gear S and I wanted to run (which seems to be the normal course of things :))

I have a Galaxy S5 ROM including: Alexndr Cpd7 DevBase v3.3.

I installed Gear manager, no problem sparring phone with the watch and ran the manager - sought out his watch and appeared window "I join with Gear ...." and that all the fun is over. Whereupon the window hangs and end - it can not go on :(

I tested the connection on another phone: LG L2 - according to the handbook on xda downloaded the appropriate packages and everything installed. Gear manager is launched (of course the phone pairing) but is not a watch - you can not connect.

I have no idea - tell me what to do. Do you have any ideas?

Huawei Ascend Mate 2 Hard Case Recommendation?

I recently purchased a Mate 2 to replace my ZTE Zmax and I was looking for an affordable two layer case like the Trident Cyclops case since I seem to drop my phone at least once a day.

Sim Card Issues

I bought my Nexus 6 outright not far off 2 years ago now but now I have a 6p on the way.......

I got a new sim card with a different network [4g] in preparation and attempted to put it in to the 6 while I wait for my 6p.....

now as I bought it outwith a contract it was naturally unlocked to any network.....

the sim didnt work and further tests have proven that no sim will work, even from the same carrier I am using it with now......only my sim works.....

how is this possible?

what can be done to fix it....?

I have flashed stock and performed factory resets also.....

I am going to try and flash the first 6.0 build on it to see if that helps.....

do phones lock themselves? Is it possible.....

Sorry for my english. Hi, i had fulmics 5.0 with xceed kernel, i wanted to change on dirty unicorns, i did full wipe, i was flashing rom but showed me baseband 21C and it was not flashed. Next i wanted to install stock V30B with flashtool, then make root and etc. I plugged to computer with download mode, i did everything good but in program showed me plug phoen to pc, i was trying and third time it was good, but i was not installing on phone, i unplugged, because i had low battery level. Now i dont have twrp, if im turning on my G3 showed me download mode, but i cant install. I dont know what to do.... Help me please guys

Does the Z3 support HEVC recording?

I may be wrong, but I heard that the Z5 supports H265/HEVC 4K recording, also with the Snapdragon 810. Is this the case with the Z3+? I'm thinking of buying the Z3+ (to upgrade from my Z1) and this might be the main selling point for me.
If yes, how is the quality and filesize with H265?
If not, is there a way to mod the software to get H265?

Cannot install apps on rooted NSTG

iOS have rooted my NSTG using glownooter and all went well in that it boots and everything is there as expected. Unfortunately I can see no way of getting apps on it. I have tried the following
-installing using browser, it crashes
-Opera mini does not work
- installing new browser, none available in market (I'm sure I've found dolphin there previously. )
-Amazon AppStore, does not work
-gmail attached app, cannot download
-email app, crashes
-google drive, box, Dropbox links in gmail, launches browser which crashes
-super manager crashes

I would really appreciate any help, all I really want is the kindle app working as the nook store is no more.

Do Jide employees actually read our comments and concerns?

I don't see the point of continuing on posting all the bugs and problems I encounter if the only people reading them are other users. This is the same thing that would happen on Facebook and the 2 previous Remix forums. It's like a "if we ignore them, they will go away" approach and it's very unprofessional. I really only want Jide to fix the basics (working WiFi, fully functional apps, apps that recognize the device as a tablet and not a phone, the option to allow apps and services to run in the background, and the ability for SD cards to format as exFAT or be recognized correctly out of the box). I've already given up on fixes for stuttering audio when the screen is off and good battery life (remember the whole "Remix Ultratablet can charge 3 phones at the same time" thing?). An acknowledgement that the team is at least aware of the problems would go a long way, guys.

About MultiROM:
For the past few days, I've been trying to port MultiROM v33 to our device so that we can multiboot with MM ROMs, but in vain. Although we have a working port of MultiROM already, it's sources are no longer available, and so we have to start from scratch. By referring to other Sony devices' source codes, I have reached a point where it boots all ROMs except MM ROMs, which is absolutely useless. If anyone has experience in the field and is willing to help, please do inform me, as this could be very useful to people who wanna stay on the bleeding edge with MM and at the same time, not lose camera privileges.

Hello everyone, made an account just so I could firstly thank the guys who made it possible for me to unlock this bootloader and root my vzw note 3 after 2 years. Now then on to my question. I bought this phone in the US but family things caused me to move to Jamaica. I was wondering, what roms can I get working with the phone while I'm not using a Verizon sim card? Is any version of CM13 currently compatible?

How to extract 100% of ROM from SPD (Spreadtrum) and make it flashable

Ive been tinkering around and just cant find a way on how to do it...

I tried using TWRP backup but when renaming the .win file to .tar I could not see the system folder..

I got the stock rom but its in .pac and no idea on what to do with it to make it flashable via TWRP or edit it to make a custom rom..

Basically I want to create a custom rom for myphone which is a Myphone My28s

LG H900 [Stock Android] Request

Hello! I have been quite fed up with the way the system looks, and it is mostly my fault for buying the phone, I thought I could unlock boot loader, but misread. My fault entirely. I was wondering though, how easy it would be to port a custom ROM like what the Nexus phones use, like CM 12.1 or something like that. Is it even remotely possible to make everything look like that? The G4TweaksBox and ThemeEngine do nothing, I click a option in a box, and it doesn't apply, even after reboot... So i am just hoping that someone can port CM 12.1 or something... just hoping...

HELP: Snapachat terrible terrible Quality!

Hi, i have an M2 D2303. I have the latest Snapchat installed, the quality of camera in photo is f***ing terrible terrible, so so blury and you cant see a thing just terrible, in video the quality is terrible too. Tried everthing deleted, reinstalled and some other things but nothing works. I need help, Thank you!

G5 stucked at encryption in progress

Hi there,

I used the LG bootloader unlock tool, and managed to install TWRP and supersu. Just followed this tuto.
All was fine, but Titanium Backup was telling me that it can't access root permissions. So I did a factory reset by TWRP. And now...

Every time I boot my phone, a warning pop on the screen :

Then there a title "Encryption in progress" and a button "Reinit phone", which bring me back in TWRP.

I still can access to bootloader, adb and twrp, but system won't go further than this encryption screen.

Any help is welcome.

i managed to fix that with force shutdown device with volume up and power buttons let device charge with power of for a time
then turning phone power on and let him continue charging

now
i unlocked bootloader to try some roms and kernels so maybe it will fix this issues
overheating and charging very slowly still and nothing changed

and idea what i can do ? what is the cause of this is it a hardware bug or what ?

I flashed a system recovery version of android from google website onto my nexus 5 and now it will not turn on. I can however hear the device sound play when I plug it into my windows machine. Please help me.

VPN breaks internet access

I have tried about 10 different VPN apps and they all connect to their respective servers but each and every one of them break internet access after connecting. I can use WiFi but as soon as the VPN connects, internet access is lost and I can't open webpages (or web related app usage). Anyone has any advice?

Help if you can...

So i got my brand new one plus one two days ago, as i have heard 6.0 was available to some i updated straight away... Then i realised i lose About 6 to 9% of battery each night. Anyone having the same issue? Plus battery is not that good, i have data off, GPS off, NFC off, brightness on manual and still loosing about 2% an hour when phone is on standby, and not being able to have more than 4:30 min on SOT. Bare in mind i did not do a factory reset after i updated. Will do if anyone tells me they are not having the same issue. What pisses me off is the standby time.

LCD Screen works but Touch screen is not working [Xperia P]

So, I had a broken charging port on xperia p. I got it fixed charging started but touch is not working now even though the LCD Screen is showing everything. It was working fine before. Need suggestion, what could be issue and solution? What should I do?

xt1040 display

Hello all, i recently broke my display of xt1040, and i'm pretending to change it, but i have one question

Does the xt1040 shares the same display of xt1033?
i have the two models, but clearly the display of xt1040 is different.
if i purchase one for xt1033 it will work on 1040?

Uninstall G900T and install G900A - Possible?

I have an unlocked T-Mobile S5 (SM-G900T) but i am turning into AT&T and want to install SM-G900A on it to get the AT&T default applications and start up screen. Is there a way to do it?

I tried using ODIN, attached PIT file and G900A.tar.md5 but the phone says "SECURE CHECK FAIL : PIT"

Can any one help please.

Text message notification problems HELP PLZ

Hi,
could anyone help me? MY S7 has stopped sending me notifications for text message arrivals.
I am using the standard app which worked fine, now doesn't notify at all. Neither notification or signal or blue LED.
Message notifications are all turned in in settings.
I also use whatsapp which notifies fine as does facebook messenger.

Anyone help at all thx?

Obtaing ip address android 6.0 aftee being connected.

I have this problem since I am a student here. The problem is that I cannot connect to my college's Wi-Fi again if I lose conexion. I know it sounds weird, but every time I have to turn on my Wi-Fi until I am not going move of the building. It only happens in Android and iOS devices. Windows connects every time. I have been trying in a HTC One m8, m9, galaxy s6 edge and iPhone 6. I have always the same issue. They keep trying to obtain IP address. If a set a static IP, it doesn't work because I don't know the mask. If I wait like two hours the phones connect again. Please help me
